Its successor, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, came out in November. I am absolutely in love with Oblivion; it's a huge game, it has an original storyline, rich environments and cultural backgrounds, and every location is different. It takes place in Cyrodiil, the central heartland province of Tamriel, the continent on which the game is set.
